    So, I have a question. How can anyone have "works" unless first they have been saved by "grace" (faith)?

    Seems to me that this is obvious, and what Todd Friel was saying was exactly what Paul said.

    So does the bible actually contradict itself, or are we just not able, or willing, to consider that what is clear in all places, can't be contradicted in just one place...James.

    So then, we take James and cross reference it with Paul and we see that James has to be speaking of the fact that if you just raise your hand at a crusade, then you just go right on with your sinful existence, seems like there was an instance where Jesus talked about that very thing....... Parable of the sower seed fell on rocky ground, sprouted up immediately, but then wasted away because there was no roots. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. So once you receive with good "soil" then it follows that there is growth...(works).


    Seems difficult at first, but we should all recognize that the Holy Spirit doesn't contradict himself...EVER.

      There is no contradiction.
      That's the issue.
      Protestant theology would create a rift/contradiction between Paul and James, if they claim that faith alone justifies, and yet, James says works justify.
      The problem is therefore the "alone" part.
      Faith justifies, correct, but a faith that is working through love aka works.
      So, Paul and James agree, because both were inspired by the same Holy Spirit.
      Also, it seems apparent, you didn't watch Robert Sungenis' response.

On June 9, 2020, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganó wrote a public letter giving what he believes is the correct course of action for faithful Catholics in light of the crisis in the Catholic Church. As I read the letter, I agreed with about 90% of it, since I, like many other Catholics, have seen with our own eyes over the last few decades the astounding degradation of our Catholic doctrines and practices.  Still, there was about 10 % of the letter—the part that contained what the Archbishop believes to be the correct course of action to reverse and remedy our desperate situation— that seemed to me to be very desperate itself. In brief, the remedy is that we should blame Vatican Council II for the evils that beset us and treat it accordingly, essentially rejecting it since it is the root of the problem. COVID-19 and the Left

It's not often that I step into the social crises confronting the secular world, but the COVID-19 crisis has become a dire exception. I have never seen such blatant manipulation of scientific data as I have seen with COVID. While feigning help to Americans by insisting we wear masks and social distance (which even some of their own experts admit doesn't really have the ability to mitigate COVID to any substantial degree, which then promoted Dr. Fouci, just yesterday, to say we should all wear goggles instead of masks), they impugn the use of a simple drug, hydroxychloroquine, that has proven to be an effective remedy to COVID, at least in the early stages when someone discovers he has been infected, and certainly as a preventive measure to stop the COVID virus from doing any harm at all. Do you know any first grade students, Christian or non-Christian, who believe that 2 + 2 = 5? Do you know any high school students who believe that common water is not H2O? Do you know of any Christian students who, knowing that 2 + 2 = 4 and that water is H2O, ever tried to wish it away by calling on God in prayer? Do you know of any comparable students who believe, or religious people who teach, that two truths can be contradictory, or that a true fact and a false fact can be true as a unit? I thought so. I believe all that the Church teaches about the Desire for Baptism or the desire for Confession, which is found in Council of Trent, Session 6: Regarding Baptism it says in Chapter 4: “By which words, a description of the Justification of the impious is indicated,-as being a translation, from that state wherein man is born a child of the first Adam, to the state of grace, and of the adoption of the sons of God, through the second Adam, Jesus Christ, our Saviour.
